ASX-listed technology services provider ASG Group has announced a series of contracts to new and existing customers worth $75 million.

The multi-year, multi-million dollar deals include contracts with construction giant Multiplex, airline VirginBlue, Ericsson/Hutch and Inpex.

“These contracts demonstrates ASG’s ability to secure extension contracts with existing blue chip clients in the corporate and government sectors,” ASG managing director Geoff Lewis said.

“Our cumulative revenue business model is built around developing long-term relationships with our customers and we are delighted by the size and task of these new contracts,” Mr Lewis said.

“Of the $75 million, about one-third is from additional services and extensions to existing contracts.”

The new contracts include the provision of IT services support to Dell Australia on its new CSIRO contract, and the provision of Oracle and general IT support to Multiplex.

ASG recently reported a net after tax profit of $4.2 million for the six months to the end of December, an increase of 46 per cent over the year-ago period.

“We are looking forward with confidence to a very strong second half to the 2008 financial year and the outlook for the 2009 year looks equally promising,” Mr Lewis said.
